Delete Your GoMate Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your GoMate account and the personal data associated with it.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)
- Open GoMate and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account.
- Type delete to confirm and tap Delete Account.
Your account is permanently closed and removed from GoMate immediately — your profile no longer appears to anyone and you're signed out. Your personal data is then retained securely (see below).
Option 2 — Request by email
If you cannot access the app, email admingomate@gmail.com from the phone number/email associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your request and delete your data within 30 days.
What happens immediately: your account is closed and removed from GoMate — your profile stops appearing to other users, you're signed out, and you can't log back in.
Data retention: we retain your account data securely for legal, safety and fraud-prevention purposes. To request full erasure of your personal data, email admingomate@gmail.com with the subject "Erase my data" — we'll permanently delete it within 30 days.
