Terms of Service

Welcome to GoMate. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GoMate mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use GoMate in your country and capable of forming a binding agreement. By using the App you represent that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You register using your mobile phone number and a one-time SMS code. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. You may delete your account at any time (see our deletion page).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm other users.
• Post unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or misleading content.
• Use the App for spam, solicitation, or commercial exploitation.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization.
• Create fake accounts or evade safety measures (verification, blocking, reporting).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.

4. Safety & meeting in person

GoMate helps you connect with others, but we do not conduct background checks beyond optional identity verification. You are solely responsible for your interactions. Meet in public places, tell someone your plans, and use your judgment. Use the in-app report and block tools if needed.

5. User content

You retain ownership of content you post. You grant GoMate a limited licence to host and display your content as needed to operate the App. You are responsible for content you submit and must have the rights to share it.

6. Verification

Some features may require identity verification. Submitting a verification selfie does not guarantee approval, and approval does not guarantee any user's identity or conduct.

7. Service "as is"

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoMate is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or interactions with other users.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or to protect users. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
