Sports (cricket, badminton, football, etc.)

Find sports partners near you

You have a racket, a bat or a pair of boots, but not enough people to play. Maybe your old team scattered or you are new to the area. GoMate helps you find sports partners nearby, whether you need a badminton partner near me for weekday evenings or two more players for a weekend cricket match.

Hosts post games with the sport, the level, the time and how many players they need. Request to join, the host approves, and the group chat handles court booking and who brings what. It is a quick way to find people to play sports with and fill a pickup game without endless phone calls.

How it works

  1. 1

Find a game near you or host one with the sport, skill level, time and players needed.

  2. 2

Request a spot. The host approves players so teams stay balanced and the numbers work.

  3. 3

Sort court booking and gear in the group chat, then show up and play.

Stay safe. Warm up, play at your level and mention any injury to the group. GoMate members are selfie-checked, and you can report or block anyone who plays rough or behaves badly.

How do I find a badminton or cricket group near me?

Browse plans on GoMate and look for the sport you play. Each plan shows the time, level and approximate distance. Request to join, and once the host approves you, the group chat is where you confirm the court and timing.

I am a beginner. Can I still join?

Yes. Many hosts post beginner or casual games and say so in the plan. If you cannot find one, host your own beginner-friendly game and approve players who want the same relaxed level.

Who pays for the court or ground?

Usually the players split the booking cost. Hosts tend to mention the rough share in the plan description. GoMate itself is free, and you can agree on payment in the group chat before the game.
