Is it safe to travel with people from an app?

Who pays for the trip?
GoMate does not book or sell trips. Groups agree on costs themselves, usually splitting fuel, tickets or a shared stay. A good host lists the rough budget in the plan, and the group chat is the place to confirm before anyone pays.
Can I find a women-only travel group?
Yes. Hosts can mark a plan women only, so only women can request to join. Many women prefer this for a first trip with new people. Men-only and open plans are available too.
