Does GoMate run volunteering events?
No. GoMate does not organise events itself. Volunteering plans are hosted by members who want company for good work they are already planning. Read each plan carefully, and if it involves an outside group, look them up before joining.
Can I start my own cleanup group?
Yes. Host a Volunteering plan with the task, time, meeting point and anything people should bring. People nearby request to join and you approve them. After the first cleanup, host the next one and keep the momentum going.
Do I need experience to volunteer?
Usually not. Most cleanups and drives just need willing hands. The host's description says if any skill is needed, such as teaching or first aid. Ask in the group chat if you are unsure what to expect.
